Today is the first day of my summer vacation. I feel very excited because I don't have to go to school anymore. In the morning, I got up early and had breakfast with my family. After that, I started to clean my room. It was a bit messy, so I decided to organize everything. I put my books in order and threw away some old papers.

In the afternoon, I went to the park with my friend Lily. We played basketball for a while and then sat under a big tree, talking about our plans for the summer. She said she wants to learn how to swim, and I hope to improve my English. I think it's important to keep learning even during the holidays.

At night, I watched a movie with my parents. It was a comedy, and we all laughed a lot. I felt very happy and relaxed. I think this is a good start to my summer vacation.

I will try to write an English diary every day this summer. I want to practice my writing skills and remember all the fun things I do. I believe this will help me become better at English.

This day was great! I can't wait for tomorrow.
